I.  ANNUAL OUTREACH PROGRAM

     Gift Giving & Fun Games with the Orphans

II.  SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

Effective in SY 2015-2016, the following scholarship programs are offered by the Founder and Executive Director of MIS in loving memory of his grandparents:
 1.    Alipio & Flora Banaken Memorial Scholarship- A scholarship for Filipino students with financial constraints but display academic excellence.
 2.    Fermin & Elena Papay Memorial Scholarship- A scholarship for Timorese students with financial constraints but display academic excellence.
 
Grants:
1.    50% discount in Tuition only to deserving students whose parents’ combined monthly salary is less than $800; or
2.  25% discount in Tuition only to deserving students whose parents’ combined monthly salary is more than $800 but less than $1,200.

Requirements:

Applicants must have an average grade of at least 85% and must have no grade lower than 80% in any learning area per grading period. Scholars who failed to maintain the minimum required academic grade will be automatically disqualified from the scholarship grant for the remaining term/s of the school year or the incoming school year. Scholars disqualified for the scholarship grant due to a grade lower than 80% or an average grade lower than 85% shall pay their regular tuition fee on the remaining term/s or quarter/s of the school year.

The following documents must be submitted for evaluation and selection of qualified scholars:
1.    Letter of intent from parents to avail the program
2.    A completed scholarship application form
3.    Current Report Card
4.    Certified true copy of parents’ pay slip and certificate of employment indicating monthly salary/ or Employment Contract

2015 Valedictory Address

Amadea Cham To our administrators, teachers, parents, and other visitors, a pleasant morning. I would you my fellow graduates to hold hands as we enjoy this moment. Let us remember the grip of these hands which remind us that we will be forever safe even as we partake for we have different roads to travel upon.  Fellow graduates, these hands remind us the greatest memories and experiences we shared together, the laughter we had with each other, the times when we build bridges of gaps, and most of all, and these hands once reminded us that we are indeed brothers and sisters. 2021 Graduation, Moving-Up and Recognition Message from the Founder & Executive Director

T oday is a joyous day amidst these trying times! Please allow me to express my utmost  gratitude to everyone and my warmest felicitations too on this remarkable day! The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has brought drastic changes not only in East Timor but the entire world. It has created challenges and difficulties in the society that we live. Many aspects of our lives have been greatly affected and in this context, the educational process of the human person. Educational institutions were not spared. We have seen over the year the changes that everyone has to adapt in the light of elucidation and of progress. Classes were modified to comply with the protocols and guidelines of the government, health and education authorities; and due to lockdowns declared by the government, the teaching-learning processes were reformed. During the remaining two (2) months of the Academic Year 2020-2021, our students stayed and learned in their homes while their teachers taught in their own places. ...
